Film

This first film was the first journalism-like piece I created. It features a story I cover regarding commuting to school in one of the most unique cities in the world.

The second film I created was in Malaga, Spain. Towards the end of the school year, I learned a piece called "Experience" by Eiunadi. The piece started fast-paced and ended with a rejoicing, strong, satisfying ending. One morning, my roommate (who only spoke broken Spanish and Finnish) woke me up at 6:00 AM to go see the sunrise. Confused and delirious, we ran from our host mother's house on top of a hill, down to the beach in order to catch the sunrise. I thought it was the perfect representation of the emotions I had felt when playing this song. I entered the film into the Global Genius Competition and won a Gold Medal.

Lastly, for the third video, my twin brother and I created a music video. He was playing an emotional piece I associated with cozy, rainy days. One rainy day after school on my way to pick my little brother up from baseball practice, I compiled footage of the rain and walking that I felt expressed the mood of the piece. The video later went on to win. I also entered this film into the Global Genius Competition and won a Gold Medal again!
